Donors Choose:
Bringing visual aids into the classroom

Ms. Hall wanted to provide her students with a magnetic whiteboard to use in the classroom. She turned to Donors Choose and the GEO Foundation to raise the necessary funds.

They will use magnets to hang visual aids to demonstrate, they will use graphic organizers to collect information in a coherent manner, and their weekly homework log will be displayed on the right-hand side to help students stay organized. A whiteboard is an essential element in a classroom and will be a great asset and integral piece to student success.

"Tools for my trade are important when engaging the prepubescent minds of eleven and twelve year old, high-needs, sixth grade students," said Ms. Hall. "It is my belief that every child can aspire to go to college and realize their full potential, but they will need the right tools to do the job."
