From the Principal:
We’re Hitting Our Stride!
I hope this letter finds each of you settled into the comfortable routine of another school year. As students, enthusiastic about studying to fill your lives with choice and opportunities, and as parents, excited about all that your children can accomplish!
As many of you already know, I was appointed as Interim Principal for 21st Century Charter School after Mr. Walker made the incredibly difficult decision to resign as Principal for health reasons. Before his departure he was most helpful as a valuable resource in moving forward. Mr. Walker and I are in touch and he is doing very well.

We’ll get to learn a little bit more about New Mexico and New York and about their everyday lives.”
Last year, LaMagna’s class enjoyed a project featuring Flat Stanley, where the students’ own construction paper versions of the classic storybook character was sent to various places, photographed, and returned. But this year, LaMagna wanted to do something “a little more personal for the kids,” so she hopped onto the Scholastic website and joined a discussion on its teacher forum. [Read More]
