Pikes Peak Prep charter renewed

The charter for Pikes Peak Prep was renewed for five years this week by the Colorado Charter School Institute. The school, at 525 E. Costilla St., serves about 300 students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The school, formerly called 21st Century Charter School, partners with the Boys and Girls Club for free afterschool services and with Pikes Peak Community College so high school students can earn college credits.
