WHO ARE WE?
The GEO
Foundation began in 1998 as a non-profit which supports and
embraces all quality educational options that enable parents to
help their children learn and schools to succeed. Through our
21st Century Charter Schools, we work to provide a quality
public education to all students in the communities we serve. We
currently have schools in Gary and Indianapolis, Indiana, as
well as Colorado Springs, Colorado, and expect to open more
schools in the near future. Our schools are public charter
schools (of choice) which adhere to all state standards and
reporting requirements. We offer students a customized learning
experience through a combination of technology based curriculum
and small group instruction. Our innovative model combined with
our modern facilities, caring staff, and small learning
environment help to set us apart from other schools.
HOW CAN YOU TAKE
PART IN OUR EFFORTS?
BECOME A
LEADER OR TEACHER: 21st Century Charter Schools are always
actively recruiting dynamic and dedicated individuals to serve
as charter school teachers and leaders. Successful candidates
will believe in and uphold the 21st Century Charter School model
while maintaining a positive learning environment.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING
FOR?
COMMITMENT: A 21st Century
Charter School leader's first priority should be the achievement
of students. They go the extra mile and do whatever it takes to
make sure that their school is successful. They share in the
commitment to providing a quality education to all students and
providing equal educational opportunities to all.
HIGH EXPECTATIONS: A 21st
Century teacher or leader believes that all students can learn.
They expect nothing but the best from their students and each
other. They provide them with all the necessary tools to be
successful.
LIFE-LONG LEARNERS: We
believe that learning is a life long process and that there is
always room for improvement and growth. A 21st Century teacher
or leader is always looking for ways to improve the school and
him/herself.
PROFESSIONALISM: A 21st Century
teacher or leader will represent our schools with a high level
of maturity and professionalism. They will motivate staff and
others to exude that same level of professionalism.
