Youth Summit Set for November 8; Register NOW!

21st Century Charter School will be sponsoring a Youth Summit Saturday, November 8. The Youth Summit is a day of free activities and information sessions designed to bolster the academic and social development of students in grades 3 – 12 and their families.

The Summit includes sessions for parents, too. From 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. parents are offered two sessions: Financial Literacy and Preparing Students for College.

The program for students begins at 9:00 am and concludes at 3:00 pm. Grades 9 – 12 and 6 – 8 sessions are separate, but the offerings are the same: The Law and You, It’s Just Music: Negative Messages in Rap Music; Entering Politics, Financial Literacy, Career and College Exploration, and the Wonderful World of Beauty.

Grades 3 – 5 sessions include Financial Literacy, Drug Awareness, Etiquette and Manners, Musical Expression, and Dealing with Peer Pressure.

Grades 6 – 8 are offered Career and College Explorations, Dealing with Peer Pressure

Students from all of Northwest Indiana are invited to attend.

Registration is happening now, but can also be done the day of the Youth Summit beginning at 8:30 am. Register now!
