The resources to improve reading

Ms. Joens works with students on improving their reading skills. However, sometimes it becomes difficult without the resources needed to make reading enjoyable for all students.

She turned to Donors Choose to request a variety of resources to help the students in the process.

"The materials I requested will help build reading comprehension, vocabulary, phonics and fluency," said Joens. "Some of the materials I requested are comprehension flip charts, language games and word detective activities. I believe that these fun, interactive, materials will make reading more enjoyable for students."

With the help of several donations, Ms. Joens' students now have the tools to succeed.
